Penny was bred by and came to us from Barbara Waterhouse of Overland Kennels in Pennsylvania.
Penny is absolutely beautiful and a delight to live with. She finished her AKC championship at 22 months of age in grand style, taking WB, BOW and BOS over bitch specials for a 4 point major. Moving up the next day, she went BOS once again, proving her consistency. On the road to her championship, Penny accumulated three BOB awards, two from the puppy class, numerous BOS and BOW. Penny has always been owner-handled and trained.
As a special Penny achieved Award of Merit status both at Eukanuba in 2007 and in siberian specialties and competed in the 2008 SHCA Top 20. Sadly Penny passed away 12/23/09 of a particularly fast moving and deadly cancer. She was taken so quickly, our heart are broken and our lives are changed forever. Penny made us better people, when we showed Penny we were larger than life. Penny is survived by her son, Ch. D'Azul's El Presidente, and her three show daughters D'Azul's Marimba, D'Azul's La Vida Loca, and D'Azul's Girl from Ipanema, all here at home as well as Ch. D'Azul's Sands of Time who lives with Maggie Toth at Dancing Winds Siberians in Pennsylvania.
