Meet Ace. Born at D'Azul, Ace now lives with Dorothy Tackett and is co-owned by D'Azul. Ace will be in the show ring and also trained for Dorothy's team once he is old enough.
Ace had his first time in the ring 10/01/06 at the Sunflower Kennel Club B Match. Ace did a great job and is showing like a champ. At 4-1/2 months he is still a little leggy and wiggly but he showed very well. Above photos taken at the match by Kathleen Byrd.

Dorothy does a lot with her dogs, including living history. Here is Ace on the picket line with Dorothy's other dogs at a living history encampment in Lathrop, MO. In the background you can see the sled, the rig and Dorothy's tent. Ace had a great time and was quite a crowd pleaser.
Here is Ace at the Match in Springfield, MO, November of 2006. Ace did a fine job and nearly won this but did lose to an older more mature dog. The next weekend, Ace had his first real show and was reserve to a 3 point major.
Here is Ace, experiencing his first real snow. That tail sticking up behind his shoulder is his playmate that Ace mowed over in his excitement.
Ace had a great time at the Sunflower Kennel Club show in Gardner, KS, May of 2007.
Ace has finally matured and is back in the show ring. Here is Ace earning his first points. Moberly, MO.
Ace gets his second win in Fort Dodge, Iowa..
Ace is now out showing with Lisa, he's picked up three more singles in short order as well as a 3 point major and reserve to a 5 point major. Ace and Lisa are hunting those last points this fall. Look for Ace and Lisa in the ring here in the midwest.
